Hmm.. Maybe I should mix up some things from my wardrobe. I could maybe mix up a loli-esque look.

I have seen Loli's in all sizes! I am not petite at all, and I think it's all in making sure you are put together, not in your size. I have even seen brand in larger sizes!

I am jealous! I've become too self conscious to don any costumes.
These are gorgeous ladies! You are really inspiring.

LONG Retired Gosu, Arisu Rori>>>>>>

I got sick of the brand elitism and the sizism. Just because I spent a week hand sewing a beautiful lace dress doesn't make it any less beautiful because it didnt come in a tiny size from a major japanese loli brand. Since i've been out of highschool, I'm more 90's grunge punk meets rockabilly at a party and 90's grunge punk is pregnant with his drunken mistake child the next morning.

BTW Milanoo.com They have an amazing selection.
Instagram makes me a better photographer, rite? LOLZ. Siggie under construction.

I love Milanoo! Fair warning to anyone who wants to try it though, I know a person who has horrible luck with Milanoo. She and her friend have both had things damaged in shipping (her friend's white dress was delivered with a rust stain!), but that's not really Milanoo's fault. Just be cautious!
Quality wise, I think they're great. I have a skirt from Milanoo from a couple years ago that's still in great shape. None of the stitches have unraveled and there are no elastic threads poking out from the lace...it did fade from use, though, but I just re-dyed it. It's brown (now it is, anyway) with black stripes <3

Great blog, but those comments.. they consider 5'7" tall... that's less than the average height for a girl here. Makes me wonder if Americans are really that small..?

I'm shorter than that, so yeah, that's tall! I don't really think it matters, because all the tips will work for someone taller. Granted, someone who's 5'7" in flats gains about four inches in rocking horse shoes XD

I'm 6'3" and I still sometimes wear 3 inch heels. Just because they make me look feminine which is a plus at my height. Those extra inches don't matter, I'm already tall anyway. :P Too self conscious to wear lolita though as my height is already making me stand out in a crowd.

I wish I could walk in 3 inch heels! Love platforms...never tried the tall heels. I have kind of weak ankles (I used to twist them badly on a regular basis as a kid) so I'm sort of afraid to try it.
