Deep in the dark in the deep dark woods, nary a traveler strays
For paths will keep crossing and turning and tossing in distressing and magical ways.
Paths that keep changing are threads rearranging a traveller’s journey for days
Though not without hazards, where all paths have gathered there is a way out of the maze.
But heed not this story, I'll give you fair warning, your last days await you in vain
Those who do not fear await their ends here, and escape is the last thing to gain.
The creatures that live here are not what they seem, though beauty and glamour they wear
All that they ask of a traveler is that you stay with them, evermore, there.
Fear not! Fair maidens, anxiously waiting, these creatures are rare to be seen
But stray off alone, dear, and care you must take, lest the last thing we hear is your scream.
