So... Hujoo Action Girls...?

Postby ShadowKat » Sat Sep 22, 2012 8:51 pm

I've been wondering about Dana. She has a lovely sweet face (especially her default A face-up) and I'm thinking about making her my first big doll and my first strung doll (not for a long while, though). I was wondering about some owner opinions on her, especially the gear system, and whether or not she'd be a good first doll. I watched a video on her, and she seems like she'd be a really solid poser, and the fact that she's ABS makes her really appealing to me because I'm afraid I would break a resin (I'm a klutz).
So, thoughts, opinions?

I don't have one. I did get the resin Cora and she was beautiful, but she has found a new home with Zirconmermaid because she wasn't getting any play time here.
But I have seen the ABS girls and they are really pretty and seem to pose well.

I have a Dana, besides the lovely resin Cora. I really like her. She does pose well, and the gear system is fun. I would recommend her as a first doll.

I have a Hujoo Sara and she poses like a champ!

She can get into all sorts of positions that my resin MSD boy can't.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I owned a Dana for a brief time. I loved her body, she just had tooo sweet of a face to survive in my horde. So she lives with Katana now.

Definitely a great first time doll.

And I'm tempted to get Teen Yomi because she just has an adorable face. I really would love to bring her home.

hi
i have a hujoo dana. she was my first doll that i recieved from my friend skookum. i absolutely love her. she has a lovely face, and she poses well. my milla does have a bit of an attitude problem. she likes gothic and punk things, but hates being dressed like a loli girl. here's a couple pics of her

thanks lamia
it was made by john paul edward delamere on facebook. it has a cape to go with it made as teh same fabric as the arm pieces. i highly recommend him. he can do just about anything. he's also made an elf outfit for my friend skookum on here. i also commissioned him for a little gothic type dress for my tong tong when she gets here and an amy brown inspired fairy piece when my amy sculpt gets here. if on facebook, i would recommend checking him out
