Anybody remember how I was inspired by a thread elsewhere on this board involving some patterns for Delilah Noir? I modified one of the patterns and made Cherry a pretty wa-loli outfit. It's been a while, but I finally took some pics. Check it out!
The outfit consists of the overdress, a corset belt, and a ruffled black underskirt. She's wearing fishnets I made for her and a pair of kickbutt Barbie boots. Surprisingly, the newer Barbie boots with splits up the back will fit Cherry's Liv feet if you don't mind the heels poking slightly out of the back slit.
A closeup to show some of the detail on the dress. The corset is actually a wide piece of satin ribbon darted and laced and then tied in a bow in the back.
Sorry about the dark pics--I don't have a lot of light available in my living room and I couldn't take pictures outside today because it's pouring down rain.
If the fabric pattern looks familiar, it's because it's the same fabric I made Ri-ri's favorite kimono out of:
Yes, I know the patterns are different, but that's because it's skirt material with a long "border" pattern (used for the kimono) and a "filler" pattern (used for the wa-loli). Both articles are from the same piece of material.
