VMF 50 body types

Postby wotafarce » Sun Sep 30, 2012 5:37 pm

Hi

I did a search on here but could not find exactly what I am looking for.

I was wondering if anyone had a complete list of the Yamato VMF bodies, detailing body type, skin colour and painted / glass eye heads etc.

I have been looking online and its sometimes not easy to differentiate between normal and tan skin in the pictures.

Any assistance would be helpful.

This thread is a good starting point for you: http://www.dolliehsanctuary.com/sanctuary/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=6623&p=75552&hilit=yamato#p75552. K2 is the absolute expert here when it comes to the VMF, and he's discussed them in several different threads. However there is no one thread that will give you everything you want - I don't think he's ever done a catalogue of them as you can go onto Yamato's website and pretty much see the entire line there, even the ones that are no longer made.

Only a few have been made in tan - notably the Type E.

There is also this:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=55&p=3100#p3100
But I haven't updated it in a while so it doesn't include the second Super Sonico, the Type G, The Type C, and a number of variations of the other existing bodies up to OCIG #12.

thanks again

my confusion is around a couple of the girls in particular, for example I thought that Yumi was a tan skin Rise but now I think they may be two different body types from that last post.

Also Nao, who is one of the dolls I am interested in seems to be tan in some of the pictures online but normal skin tone in others. more confusion.

Its at times like this that I wish I could read Japanese, most of the useful info seems to be on sites in that language, these dolls are no where near as easy to research as other brands.

once again thanks for your help.
