A couple of years before my daughter was born, some young woman stole a couple of credit card bills from our mail box (hey, she was already planning a crime, so why not a federal offense, too?) and attempted to make purchases at (then) Richs Department Store and Sears. We found out because a Sears in California got a call to purchase over $1000 worth of electronics for delivery in Georgia and they thought that was a bit odd. Richs, on the other hand, called to verify the delivery address for pretty much the same amount of electronics and to make sure someone would be there to accept delivery. The delivery address was a mail drop store a half a mile away. With the help of the mail drop store's manager the police were able to locate and arrest the girl - who tried to claim she was my (ex)husband's daughter and had his permission to make the purchases! Sure - she could have been his daughter, I suppose ... it he had been 13 years old when she was born! And get this! Not only did the police call Steve in for questioning as though he was somehow involved in trying to steal from himself (boggle), they dropped the charges and let the little thief go!!!

Arg. My favorite singer just left the band and everyone's speculating and coming up with rumors. Blarg. Life goes on but still :c I only got to see her live once.

Got in another fight with my dad over my bad memory. It's not like I forget stuff on purpose! So, of course I was called moron. I know I am stupid but hearing that from my father hurts. And earlier this day I was scolded again for liking anime and Japan. I really need to hide my torrents better. >.>

NO!!! NO ONE IS STUPID!!! I'm a Special Education Teacher and none of my students are stupid. Don't you dare call yourself that either. Forgettfulness isn't because of your IQ. It can simply be a different way of thinking. I can't remember ANYTHING with numbers, time oriantation, or names. That doesn't make me stupid either.

Your father is a dick for saying that to you and should beg for your forgiveness. Although he probably won't. So it's up to you to realize that your father is wrong and your are perfect the way your are.

It's the same with me! I can't tell if 5 minutes or half an hour has passed! Counting only with my mind is very difficult for me as well. And these are main reasons I get scolded often. My dad is always right. Always. Few years ago we got into big fight over my interests in anime and Japan. Even today I'm not allowed to make anime wallpaper as desktop picture of my laptop. At least he doesn't mind that much my interest in dolls. I can hide my anime stuff but hiding a doll would be a huge problem.

What's his issue with Japan? o.O That is a very strange thing to get so bent about.

I don't really know. I heard from mom that when he still was working, the company he worked at had some problems with Japanese? I'm not too sure about that. But you know, he's very strange. Last spring we both went to exhibition about Japan and he was fine with it. He was even interested in lecture about Japan and possibilities of visiting it. But at other times if he hears me talking about Japan, he starts complaining that it's all I think about, that all Japanese are strange and then brings up suicides... The last one is unfair to bring up since it's Lithuania which has the highest suicide rate in the world.

This has not been a great few weeks. Cat got sick, huge resulting vet bill. I got sick with the bad tooth, huge resulting dentist bill. The freezer died and we lost $600 worth of food and had to replace it, and apparently someone hacked our credit card number at a local store because they tried to charge $800 worth of stuff last night to it. Fortunately we caught that the day after but DAMN it's been a crappy time recently. On a more positive note I am getting two Delilah Noir dolls shortly. One for Halloween and one for Christmas it looks like. I found them on sale and my parents are springing for them. One regular girl, one goth. I'm still not real happy with life right now, but at least I have new toys to look forward to, eh?
