1/3 Pullip hybrid Thread

Postby BadCandy » Sun Oct 07, 2012 12:57 am

So due to the curiosity spawned from my girl, I figured I'd open up discussion on the topic of 1/3 Pullip hybrids.

^ this was partially my inspiration to make my girl bigger.

Has anyone else seen any other cool 1/3 Pullip hybrids? Links?

Hi

this is something I had considered before with my Pullip Elizabeth, and when searching found this link

http://parabox.jp/eng_new/custom/puri3.html

it shows how to fit a Pullip head to an Obitsu 60cm body, actually looked quite easy to do and is certainly very detailed.

however RL got in the way and it never happened.

HHMMMM I now have a Obitsu 50cm and a DD white skin in my possession, may have to have another look at this

My girl is a strung body, and she didnt sit correctly with the eye mechanism in, and the mechanism didn't work correctly. A modified obitsu body does seem like a better option to keep the eye mech, If you like obitsu :) Thanks for the link!

Someone posted pictures of a Pullip on a 50 cm Obitsu body on JS a couple of years ago and it was ADORABLE! I really love the way it looks and was very tempted to try it.
I'd also love to see a Hujoo head on a big Obitsu body too.

I always thought those heads looked better on larger bodies.

i like that they still have the wide proportions (aka chubby face) but don't look like bobble heads on 1/3 bodies..
