This is obviously a happy Camille wig that an ebay seller is making knockoffs of they didnt even do a good job of shopping the logo off, but i was wondering if anyone knew a seller that makes 1/2 black and red wigs like this in an 8-9 size. or even something close in the half and half style..

Ersa Flora periodically does orders of Happy Camille wigs otherwise nope, you'd probably have to make it for yourself.

I actually have that wig on my follow list on Ebay just because I love the look so much and didn't want to forget it, but I want it in 8/9 size also. I just saw some of Ersa Flora wigs the other day and I know she manages to get limited editions .....

Making a regular wig by hand is a pretty involved procedure. You have to make the wefts first, then sew them onto a cap and then style. If she's making them by hand in lots of say 20 or 30 at a time I can see why it might take her 3 months to fill an order. That's a heck of a lot of work. Even with a machine doing it all in a factory setting it doesn't go all that fast. I've seen a video of them doing it at one of the big doll factories. Took longer than I thought it would.

I'm not saying it's not hard work, I used to cosplay and know how wigs are put togeather, i'm just not interested in a custom order and waiting 3 months for a doll wig ^_^

Then making your own will probably be the only option. Most companies do not have wigs in stock, particularly unusual ones. They only make to order and two to three months is your average. If you are on Den of Angels you can post a Want to Buy in their wig marketplace, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that working very fast.

You could maybe try splicing a couple of wigs together. You may have to attach extra wefts around the seam, but it would probably take less time than starting from scratch.
