I don't want to sound like a nagging mom or anything, but please be careful. I know you know what your doing, I'm just wary of "therapists" like that. Been around people like that for more than half of my life. Just have fun with it. Ok, nagging over.

Ditto. Don't take it seriously, please. And should this happen, the SECOND this person starts talking about "curses" or "bad karma" on you, WALK OUT. That is ALWAYS the prelude to a money scam.

The woman is apparently a legit thing in our area but I'm looking at it as a stepping stone towards more therapy. Just like... a different kind of therapy. I don't know *shrug* mom's paying. :T

What is a "past life regression therapist"?

My very basic understanding is that it's someone trained into hypnosis who can supposedly get you into a trance that can make you remember a past life. People who've gone to this woman have actually looked up the lives after the session and they were apparently real people so, eh ? I know it all sounds stupid but mom pushed for it.

I'm someone who thinks anything is possible, and I wont know anymore about it if I don't try it. After this session I'll hopefully have a better understanding about myself..? Eh, either way, there will be a legit therapist after this so it's not like I'm only seeing a Past Life person and no one else.

I've had a serious upper resp infection for like a month now. It's finally (crosses fingers) ending, I think....Yay!

Hoping so, also, Magkelly. Funny thing is there's a member of our local doll group dealing with the same issue. I certainly hope this isn't a precursor to what this winter might bring.

In my case it was a 'group' session in my very close women's group where the therapist talked us through the visualization of 3 different past lives - down a stairway to a door that led to a hall, walking down the hall and picking random doors to go through, then 'seeing' what we were wearing, what we looked like, and what our lives were about, fast forward to when we passed (not sure why she had to cover THAT part of the past life except possibly as the mechanism to get us out of each room), then back out in the hall and choose another door, and finally back up the stairs to the present - and then we each shared what we wanted to of our experiences.

For me it was a very emotional and enlightening experience, but it in no way led me to seek further 'therapy'.

I sincerely hope not because I've about had enough of this. Whatever it was had me so darned sick I've barely left my house the past few weeks. I've got two packages I need to finish finding stuff for and mail out but I just have not been up to doing them. I get up, read a bit online, end up back in bed all day, get back up at night for a couple of hours, maybe play a video game for an hour or two, but I'm back in bed sooner than not. That's been about it. I managed to finally get my two Delilah's dressed in something other than their factory clothes but there are 3 more dolls sitting there on a shelf naked because just doing stuff like that wears me out. I took a 5 minute trip out yesterday, to the store for cat food and litter, because I had no choice, we were almost out, and I ended up exhausted and sleeping for several hours when I got home. My aunt has a sinus infection type thing too. But fortunately my parents seem okay for now. My brother is having to step in a bit though till I get over this. I just can't cook and stuff for them while I am this sick. They're pretty old and being around them when I am this sick could be really bad. My aunt is staying away too just in case. But I really hope they do not catch this whatever it was. If it was this hard on me it would be way harder on them...

That sounds like it was a great experience. I don't know what to expect from mine, which is why I mention more therapy after the session. I figure it'll either work, or just give me more to sift through towards understanding why my brain does what it does and what I can do to correct it.

I'm redoing my hobby room and my boyfriend had the most clever idea EVER, so now I have two desks - one for my computer, one for creative purposes - in a room that used to be cluttered SO badly... I'm so happy!!!!!!

Haha I'll ask him!

It's seriously amazing. I still have room for my 1/4 dollhouse as well, plus pretty much everything else. And I have a LOT of stuff. I could cuddle him flat (sorry, Dutch expression ;)).
