Shopping Cart or Shopping Buggy?

Coke, Pepsi and all that cola is soft drink to me.
At the end of that I just throw everything into the rubbish bin or trash bag(Well it usually is a big black bag)

I drink Coke. Pepsi? We don't allow that in the house.
Trash can. I was in North Adams, Massachusetts and I asked where the trash can was and they stared at me then pointed to the 'rubbish bin.' I ordered Coke and they said they only had Pepsi so instead I ordered unsweet tea and they were like, "well, what else would it be?"

When I was in England many years ago I shouted to my friends, "Y'all come see this," and people giggled at me. :-p

You have to ask for tea to be unsweetened here. If they have it they bring it along with a big spoon so you can sweeten it yourself. Diabetes in a glass anyone? I can't handle sweet tea so here I have to specify unsweet.

I love regional differences. I think its' fun to have a unique cultural experience. It just gives us that much more to share with others.

Cart. Buggy is what babies ride in if it's the big, old-fashioned thing; now it's a stroller. Soda, but when I lived in Illinois for a while, it was pop. Trash/garbage interchangeable, unless you're using it as an unfortunate pejorative about tacky people. Creek: a crick is what you get in your neck. Bag/sack interchangeable, except for what you carry your personal stuff in every day; That's your bag (I think people used to say "handbag"). But Santa Clause carries his toys in a sack, for some reason. Is that in a song somewhere?
