Blargh, turns out that the exif data wasn't provided on the photos for my Sweet Dolls Allison's DoA approval submission(how is this kind of information submitted anyway?).... so, I'm really hoping that the folders with 420 production and prototyping photos will have the information that they need to determine his topicality. ^.~

Wish us luck! I really tried to design him so that he hits every single point of criteria required, so this kind of delay is really frustrating. ^///^

Oh and here's the kicker...I really wanna take one of my dolls with me as something to keep me at least comfortable...Even if it's in the carrier the whole time...Is that sad?

Not sad at all. I've taken dolls to the doctor and other appointments. Doctors can be scary so having a transition object is fine. Eyes are important so definitely go.

Nothing makes it impossible to buy gifts for people that might not need/want them when you're out of spending money. It brings one back to the true meaning of the season... Avoiding Black Friday commercials while watching the Twilight Zone marathon, wondering if someone will come visit, and mindless eating. I can't imagine what's so important about a cheap TV that you have to camp out for a week.

So, turns out I have an extra week of vacation to use before the end of the year. I knew I was due for a third week, October being my 10th year at my job, but I wasn't expecting to actually get it until January when all the vacation days reset. Surprise! XD While I do love having a whole extra week off, I wish I'd been told this sooner. Then maybe I could have actually had time to plan an actual VACATION with it.

Oh well! In January I'll get my full three weeks again and durn it next year I am DETERMINED to make it to some sort of convention! Either a doll convention or an anime convention or a fantasy convention or, ideally, all three. lol

I don't know about where you're at but here in the Midwestern US, once an EMS parcel lands, sometimes it isn't "updated" as fast on the EMS web site.
