After doing the photoshoot for Zirconmermaid's Alerich and Lily, I decided to put Niki, my Elfdoll Red, on a three-part Obitsu body.

Niki: Why did you give me this new body? I liked my resin body.

CM: Well, could you do THAT with your old body?

Niki: Hmmmm......

CM: And could you do THAT with your old resin body?

Niki: It's kinda cool, I guess.....

Niki: I feel a lot more stable, that's for sure.

CM: And what about your hands?

Niki: Oh Yeah! THank you Zirconmermaid, for figuring out a why for me to keep my resin hands. The vinyl ones were too girly for me.

He looks good, I just bought a Dollfie dream body for a resin head that I had floating around so I am going to see how that works out..

Thanks. Yes, the skintone is amazingly close. The elfdoll resin is just a bit darker but it is about the same hue. It would be very easy to match it with blushing, but I prolly won't because I'm lazy and it doesn't bother me.

I'm not sure how happy she'll be about the missing bits, lol! I may need to get the apoxie out for that......
She hasn't seen him yet. But I'm sure she'll approve. He's actually a bit taller now (note the high water pants- have to make him some new jeans now too).

I LOVE the hands! I have about a dozen pairs of resin hands that I got quite a long time ago and I don't have a large resin doll. I have wondered if I could ever do anything with them because they are quite delicate and pretty. I think they are Dollmore, but I am not sure. I would have to look.

Look at Zirconmermaid's tutorial. I don't know if it would work on DD, though. I don't know how those are put together.
