Lady J (Elfdoll Yuan)

Postby Dirili » Mon Nov 12, 2012 4:28 pm

Quick drive-by post.

I started out making her a blond bombshell with blue eyes, but just didn't look right so she ended up with a darker glamor. Named her Lady J because she reminds me a bit of the character from G.I. Joe lol. I think it's mostly the hair.

Good thing that doll is not within reach or she would be covered with my slobber. She's beautiful, Rainman is a genius.

XD Thanks cirquemom!
Now I've finally got all my dolls faced up and blushed... not sure if I should make some eyes for the ones that don't have the perfect pairs or if I should start sewing... or who to start sewing for if I start sewing hehe. I have a lot of naked dolls right now.

Lovely. Its the combination of her eyes and hair.

I love Lady Jaye and Scarlett from the old cartoon series

thanks so much you 2! :D
Yay another Joe fan!
My sisters and I used to play G.I. Joe when we were kids and I would be Lady J, the middle sister would be Scarlett and the youngest would be Cover Girl. I didn't read the comic books till later in life, but the comics had some good stories although they really focused on only certain characters. The cartoons gave more storytime to more people. The comics also actually permanently killed off certain characters which was pretty shocking to me.

Always loved Snake Eyes too hehe, even as a kid I liked the strong, silent, dark type.

She is stunning.
I agree with cirque: Rainman is indeed a genius.
As for G.I. Joe, I liked the Baroness. Did anyone else like her?

hehe yes! I liked just about everyone in the show and the comics.
I liked the live action movie, but it bugged me that Baroness and Destro weren't together, because they were always the only solid couple ever in the series. They were like the greatest romance in the whole story. Well, Lady J and Flint did get married, but then she died.

Rainman IS a genius! I love so many of the Elfdoll head sculpts.

For the better part of my childhood, the cartoon series led me to think that Duke and Scarlett were a couple until I found out much later that she was suppose to be with Snake Eyes

I know! Me too, so when my sisters and I used to play, we always paired Scarlett with Duke too. It wasn't till I was an adult that I read the comics and found out that she was with Snake Eyes. Their relationship was never really played up much though and she was kind of annoyed that he kept putting off getting married because stuff kept happening.
