Hesitation at Checkout

I am somewhat undecided on getting Souldoll Vito Elan ever since he came out. I kinda like him and stuff but I still feel that he still doesn't quite match my character's looks. Being the younger version of a fave tough guy, he's suppose to match my 50cm Obitsu Parabox Megu who is a like-at-first-sight and a dead ringer for a character doll .

And then I thought maybe with the winter sale event along I would get him but that's still not working. Ended up getting the iplehouse Dexter that I already like-on-first-sight and even have a character standing around with a project list

And my friends wonder why its so hard for me to just go buy a doll when I already sort of like it

I feel really bad cause I've never felt that way about buying something. I just buy stuff then bounce around 'till it arrives. Or forget. Once I'd ordered some clothes from Alice's Collections and completely forgot about it. When they arrived I had this moment of confusion before gleefully tearing through all my new goodies. /facepalm.

Another reason why forcing yourself to hit the checkout button is a good thing:

I went back to Luts today and added ONE of the girl-version Bohemian Sets I'd been wanting to my cart, and got a message saying "quantity not enough". Even though there was no sold-out sign up yet.

My immediate reaction:

I checked my cart on a whim to see if the set I'd added last night was still there. It was. So I was immediately scared into hitting the checkout button. I think I must've managed to snag the VERY LAST set, 'cause when I checked Luts a few minutes ago, it said sold out. lol So very glad I didn't wait another few days to decide or I really might have missed out on that set! And then the self-kicking would be forced to commence.

Oh, yes! I do that all the time. Then, after I hit the button, I feel like, "Oh, no! What have I done?" After the dollieh comes, though, and I see her face, I'm happy.

Lol. I had that feeling when I click buy for Iplehouse Dexter. I was unsure of the state of the currency rate and whether or not I wanna buy stuff at my local convention and then Iplehouse went and raise their price a week later.

What normally happens to me is that I preorder a doll. And it ends up taking FOR EVER to arrive. So somewhere along the line, I think, "screw it, I need a dolly fix" and push the "buy it" button. And of course the VERY NEXT DAY I get the email saying my pre-order has come in. Just after I spent the money on another doll. So then I have to really scramble to find the money to pay the preorder. One time I had FOUR DOLLS arrive within two or three days of each other, and they had been order literally anywhere from six months to three days earlier. Just - for some reason they all arrived at the same time.
It's happened several times (usually just two dolls, though).
