:cry: plus i had a huge break down and tried to break up with my boyfriend several times for no real reason so im kinda not thinking about how to get it back anymore anyways.... today has jsut been such a long day already x_x|| i went from kinda depressed to super angry and paniced to numb then back to super depressed and slightly suicidal (vry breifly considered things id never act on, im fine now) and then super angry at my bf for no reason to feeling super worthless and liek im jsut a huge burden to him and i got all.... weird telling him he should break up with me and find someone else whos better and at first he was like no way i love you then what i was saying started making sense to him and he asked if we could take a break instead (to have time apart) and i had flash backs of exes asking me that and they all cheated on me and got back with me after or jst flat out left me so i was like NO WAY WE STAY TOGETHER OR BREAK UP so he was liek well maybe we should break up then i spend an hour in the fetal positing crying so hard i could barely breathe texting him telling him how much i love him and trying to reassure him that it was the right thing anyways no matter how much i loved him and that id be fine and he kept asking me if i was sure then he was like ok we'll do it then my heart like litterally broke in half and i realized i was stupid to say that and begged him not to break up with me and he said it was your idea and that he'd only do it if he thought it was really what i wanted and im liek i know and then he said tons of stuff to make me feel better and now im kinda ok but feel like i might break down again at any second..... x_x

tl:dr, basically im crazy, emotional and unstable today but im lucky i got a bf who loves me anyways x____X

Sugar Corpse, I'm sure you can get the stuff back. Isn't there someone in the computer lab at your school that could help you? Maybe if you told your teacher what happened and asked him/her for help, you could make him/her aware of the situation and get help at the same time.
If not, what about summer school?

I don't know what school won't take a person back who is 21. My son went back to his university at 28, and I finished my degree in my 50's, so I'm certain you could go back. As long as they get paid, they don't care.

SugarCorpse: Take a breath and some time to yourself to calm down so you can collect your thoughts on how to proceed next into fixing what happened. The fact that you became so anxious you tried to end your relationship worries me. *Hugs* Don't worry, you'll find a way. Honestly, I only went to Community College in my area and just got a 2 year degree. Unless you really know what you want to do, college may be a bit much for you right now. Heck, in some cases it's completely useless.

Useless CC degree holder right here! And my two year degree only took me four!

Is there a way to just get a certificate where you're qualified in your field of study but didn't do all the "basic ed" stuff to get a full degree? My sister and mother went that way and were ready to start working.

i'm in highschool.... and they stop getting funding when im 21 so to go back after im 21 so if i were to go back or go to summer school (because my birth day is before summer) i have to pay to go..... and it cost more than we can afford.

and my tech teacher might know how i can get it back.... i'll ask her tomorrow and mention to my careers teacher and counselor and see if there s anything they could do..... x.x

I'm in high school..... i had to drop out when i was 17 because of depression... then went back to a different high school when i was 18 and got kicked out because i got depressed again and stopped going. then decided to take a year off and decided that if i felt ok after that i'd try to go back if i can, then i met my bf in December and we started dating in January and he made me feel like i could and should go back

like theres other ways to get a high school equivalent but i went back to prove to myself i could do well in school.... so that maybe one day i cold go to college but i'll probably never go to college if i i cant even get through half a semester of high school with out having break downs.... ;~;

So sorry for assuming you we're in college! I kinda went along with the convo without thinking. I'm sure there's a way for you to finish HS, but unfortunately I don't know how. Keep in contact with your counselor at the school and we are always here.

Take a deep breath. Many of our greatest minds dropped out of High School and just got a GED. My mother being one of them. :lol: BTW, I'm not kidding about her being pretty brilliant. She loves reading physics books for fun. She also went to NYU and almost ended up in Juilliard. Yes, you can do it, just not in the traditional way and that's ok. And if you don't remember...I'm a High School English teacher!!! So take what a teacher tells you and look for other ways to do what you want.

Because you get so stressed from it, I wonder if you would do better just getting your GED, and then starting on some college course at your local JC. A lot of people who don't do well in high school for whatever reason (for instance, social stuff; I'm not talking about people who can't handle the academics) get their GED and go to college instead of high school, and do great. Also, people who are very passionately involved in something outside of high school get their GED because then they have more freedom. For instance, my daughter was training to be in the circus in high school and by her junior year was performing with a circus, and she considered getting her GED just to get out of school early and be able to devote more time to training. Another friend of hers who was a serious ballet student got hers so she could train during the day, and a friend of my other daughter got her GED and went straight into a Vet Tech program at 16 instead of graduating from high school. AND another friend who was very into acting graduated (GED) at 16, then moved to where the JC is and started college classes and taking acting classes. All of them very bright girls.
So while I know you want to "prove" something to yourself, maybe you need to ask yourself if it is worth the amount of stress and depression it causes for you. You might seriously do much better at a college, taking a few classes at a time, etc.
