It's really cool!
I shudder to even think. But remember, I am a hundred years old so I've been collecting for a long time (okay, actually 58 years old, but you get the picture). Some of the stuff is literally from my childhood, some of it is vintage from thrift stores, antique stores, ebay, etc. I am always always always on the prowl for little stuff and always keep an eye out for it no matter where I am. You would be surprised where you can find things. I got the little six-pack of corona at a tobacco shop on Union Square in San Francisco. The mixmaster electric beater is actually a vintage salt and pepper shaker. I got the little hand egg-beater at an antique store, it's from the 1950s. Her red mixing bowl is from a set of bowls that are from either Cost Plus or Ikea- they are for ingredients when you are cooking.
I made the bag of flour by downloading a page for gold medal flour on amazon.com, printing it out, cutting out the label, and then glued it to a little white paper bag I made out of computer paper. Then just filled it with flour.
When I was a very little girl, one of my great-aunts gave me a tiny six-pack of Coca-Cola for Christmas and I thought it was the most amazing thing in the world- I think that's what started my passion for little things.
