Ugh, I am so full! We had enough food for twenty people, but only had four people here. TOO MUCH FOOD!!!
Anyway.
Watching The Godfather now, and when it's over, I'm going to play "The Freshman" with Mathew Broderick, because my son-in-law is a big Godfather fan and he's never seen The Freshman.

haha... I ate too much at the in-laws AND my own family's house. I am waddling around like I'm going to give birth to a turkey. My sister baked the most awesome pies. Granny made an epic apple-stack cake. I'm absolutely stuuuuuuuuuuffed. :-)

The Dutch don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I hope you'll all have a great one!

That's okay, Evelien - in the American tradition of never having too much of a good thing, we like to extend it for 4 full days. Today countless millions are flailing around at malls and superstores all over the country trying to grab up special Black Friday deals on Christmas (and other holiday) presents. Tomorrow, fewer hundreds of thousands (possibly me included) will patronize thousands of privately owned businesses on Small Business Saturday while others gather 'round the TV for college football. Sunday families all over the nation will settle in for back-to-back pro football games and finish off the leftovers. And Monday, people will hover over their keyboards searching out the best deals on Cyber Monday and hope their bosses don't catch them. May the madness begin!

I suppose lucky for me, my gift list is small. My fiance, a few local friends. The big thing I'm doing is for two friends out of state, but it's not happening til the spring, and that's assuming I can get my car fixed.
