So this is what it means to have a husband that is

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

So this is what it means to have a husband that is

getting in to the doll hobby? I have been in a funk lately , cant sew or write , you know the blahs.. I hate em. But Richard my husband found a Hujoo that he liked at CCBJD and bought it off off the sweet Heidi ( she did the sewing workshop)

So he took it to work and took some pics of his little Hujoo boy. His coworkers made remarks like " "It takes a secure man to bring a doll to work." LOL but he just laughed.

Well he soon realized that his boy only had one set of clothing and my husband does not sew.

So I go to the computer one morning and see this:

Hey, my wife has a husband who's in to the doll hobby!

Then again, I have for years accused her of having bad taste in men, so make of that what you will.

Greyhaunt- the black outfit was made by Heidi, the plastic bag was fashion by Rick. lol

Mlatch221---Yeah we both like lots of different toys but now that means I am going to have to start sewing for his guys !

Dark angel- If you call them 'action figures' they probably will ! I have heard so many mothers tell their boys ' Boys dont play with dolls ! " Then they have taken the doll away... doll , action figure ,what ever.. its just a toy is what I say.

Did someone say hubby and doll collector in the same breath?

;)

Silkstone Lingerie #6 (the shorter one on the left in this picture) is the one that got me started...(the larger one is an OOAK Tonner Ellowyne made to look like L6.

But this lady had lots to do with it too...She's a Volks Who's That Girl Kana doll. But I call her CyberDoll (CBD) May. This is one of her first outfits, a black and white maid.

And here she is being all girly...

I think that once you find the right doll to catch the interest, you're pretty much on the right track.

The other images of CBD May can be found in her gallery...

The Lingerie Silkstone\Ellowyne combo is all kinds of cool. Seriously.

Thanks! I love the both. My wife did the work on the Ellowyne because she knows how much I like the Silkie, so at my suggestion she decided to make a 16-inch version for me...

HEHEH. That was cute. I wish my hubby was into dolls too. I couldn't even get him to carry one around for me. Had to go into the bag. Heheh. But at least he is supportive of my hobby with dolls.
