Follow through with it!!! I had to file several police reports, on different students, last year. The main thing is to totally follow through so they can't weasel their way out. The kid won't learn crap if he gets away with it.

i do some animal rescue. we rescued a feral sick kitten back the beginning of august. gizmo was only about 4 weeks old and about a pound. we thought we had a little boy kitten. looks like our little boy is actually a little girl kitten. yeah that gizmo is a gender neutral name

Gender is hard to tell that early - their balls haven't even dropped yet if they are boys :)

Funny related story:
There was an abandoned cat in my complex that I was feeding, and I was totally torn between keeping it or taking it to the local humane society so it could be cleaned up and adopted out (it was a longhair and tottttallly matted up). So one day, when my BF was over, I picked up the cat and asked her "spread it's legs and see if you can tell what it is. This cat, by the way, was a limp noodle throughout and simply loved that someone was holding it. She spread the legs, did some looking around and declared, "It's a girl, I see a twat (her choice of words, not mine)."

Ok, didn't want to deal with having to get a girl cat spayed so I decided to take the cat to the humane society. Take a day off of work, cat it, put it in crate, take into society office with much crying. Lady there takes cat and transfers it to one of their cages. When she brings me back my crate she says "Don't worry, we'll get him cleaned up, neutered and adopted out."

Him?

Seems that my BF was frigging blind because it only took one good handling of his private area for the HS worker to recognize an unneutered boy cat! I never let my BF gender a cat for me again LOL

Raining like mad. Sideways winter rain, a-la Northern California. The dog can't decide if she needs to pee or not. Let dog out. Watch dog huddle near the wall. Let dog in. Dry dog with towel. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Try going out on leash with an umbrella, totally useless in sideways rain, still no pee.
Sigh.
We've lost the venue for our Christmas concert (community band I play in) so now what!?
Sigh.
I wonder how many fences (big wooden ones) will be flat on the ground tomorrow?

Sewing all day makes it so I can't type or talk coherently. I've done a lot of backspacing in this post.

...... so, a guy in my Wartune guild apparently decided that I would be a good person to reach out to emotionally and randomly share a very disturbing story with..... I really did not need to know that, random person that I sometimes crawl group dungeons with.....

:| then he wanted to exchange contact information (IM/Facebook/etc) so we could talk to each other outside the game, and I was like "NOPE. Homie don't play that. This is what ruins internet friendships. I do not want to have another conversation of that type with anyone, ever..... much less a random stranger on the internet who I barely know."

@__@ I don't know why people want to tell me these things. (I have no idea if it was true or if he was just being an attention-whore, either.)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I got all excited about the "Northern CA" thing, then I read your profile and saw "East of Sacramento".
:(
I'm all the way over on the Mendocino Coast. We got literally inches of rain last night- supposed to be over three inches, not sure what it turned out to be. I have two doggies- one is 108 pounds and basically furniture, so he's no problem. The "little" one is about 55 pounds, a year old, still thinks he is a cuddly chihuahua puppy, and NEEDS to run and play. Yikes. It has been tough. The five kitties are a little easier.
