Mary the Doll and the Big Storm that is pounding the Mendocino Coast right now (November 2012).

The rain has been coming down for hours.

Chloe is NOT happy!

Down at the beach, the ocean is almost up to the Sea Wall.

The waves are wild and wooly!

Mary needs a better look.

She climbs up onto a stump, washed in by last year's storm.

The waves toss big logs onto the beach like they are jackstraws...

Then pulls them back out into the water.

The sky gets darker as the clouds get heavier.

Time to get back into the warm truck for a ride home!

The coat is just an American Girls (but generic) raincoat off of ebay. I tailored it a little to make it fit better.
