Serious announcement

I soooooo understand. That was me 1.5 yrs ago. Seven years at that school... budget cuts... eliminate an art position. *sigh* Ganbatte!!!!!

Same thing happened to my daughter. She was the admin. asst. to a hospital administrator in San Francisco. He was fired, she was told, "Don't worry, we'll have a position here for you", and then two months later she was "let go". Even though they discovered after her admin. left that she had literally been doing his job. The new people who came in brought their own team, so she was out. Seems like there is a lot of collateral damage whenever a new administrative team comes in anywhere.

The timing is really sucky.

I been through that myself and now I'm wary when current company goes through an almost similiar change. I hope things will improve for you.

Aww, that sucks. I hope you'll be able to get a (much better) job soon. Nothing wrong with temp work, either. Sometimes temp can turn to permanent. It's how I managed to get my job, which I've been at ten years now.

Temp is how I got this job actually.

today will be the worst day I imagine. I'm going from ok to crying and back again Its really hard when you know you were doing your job extremely well and better than others, but you get let go just because other people look shitty and they need patsies. There was a lot of politicing behind this that I thought I had avoided...guess not.
