I'm sorry to hear that Greyhaunt. I really hate hearing about people who lose their jobs, not because they weren't doing them, but because they needed to make budget cuts or what not. Granted, I realize that it happens sometimes, but don't get rid of the person who has done his or her job well.

Dang! I get stuck at Pep Boys all afternoon with emergency brake work and come back to this?! GH, that sucks big time! First, I am so sorry. You, of all people, don't deserve such craptastic treatment. I hope they find themselves miring in confusion and deadlines up to their eyeballs. Then they'll regret letting you go. I'll be praying this opens up a fabulous new path for you - like going for your "legit" degree (hahaha) or finding that unexpected job opportunity.

LOL - thanks for all the moving offers folks - believe me, if I knew I had a job waiting for me I'd consider most of them...well, except maybe overseas but only because my folks are here and I can't abandon them that way.

A lot of unemployment going around.... I really hope that something even better will pop up for you very soon.

I have a cousin who has been unemployed for 3 years, but my brother-in-law got a new, better paying job within 2 weeks.
