Delilah Noir dolls! Share some love ^^

A proper pic thread for the DN's? Awesome! I haven't had any problems changing out the feet on my Delilah's, just an FYI. They seem fine to me. I am careful but the ankles on all 3 of them seem fine to me. Pics here in a bit. I'm just about to eat dinner and I'm totally starving because I haven't hardly eaten all day. I'll take some of Dahlia and Delilah after I eat though. I've got to pull the cameras out to photograph my new Barbie girls anyhow. Might as well do the D's too. Still haven't attempted to face up the one as yet though. I wanted to give it a while. I'm still somewhat sick and I've been really busy the past couple of weeks making up for not working because I was sick. Trying to do her before was very frustrating besides so I just wanted to put some distance between that experience and when I went to do it again so I would be able to start fresh. I've got to do it soon though. She needs to go under the tree and she can't do that with her face naked...

I only have my emily. I love her, but her knee is bad. so she doesn't stand up on her own. my awesome roomie made a knee brace for her.. so i just added it to her persona.. mine does have a tiny chip on one of her ankles.. i have no idea how it got there.. and i really had to look to find it. I can't wait to see them!!! its nice to see other DN owners I feel bad for Emily, i've had her for about 2 years now.. and I haven't gotten her face done.. I have to find someone who can do it for me. there is no way that I would try it on my own. lol

I got sick today again, got nothing done, sorry. My stomach has been a mess the last couple of weeks. I've had this perpetual stomach virus/upper respiratory thing for about a month now. You know I'm really regretting that I tried to repaint my PIP Delilah now. It just didn't go well and I've been really avoiding going there again ever since. She's a very hard doll to totally repaint. I definitely bit off more than I can chew with her. This is a doll for a very experienced repainter, IMHO. I'm going to give it one last shot this weekend but I'm not expecting much at this point with her.

Okay, here's my Delilah in her red cherries dress with shoes and (unfinished) bag. This dress is known as the "Evelien" because of the person who inspired it with her cherry-print doll shoes.

I absolutely love that outfit. Too cute. I have a couple of cherry dresses for Barbie actually but nothing that big. That is just darling...

Thank you, dears. It's late getting posted. I made it last summer after Evelien kept getting wonderful shoes, and the cherry ones just killed me. It's a mod of one of the free Delilah patterns that were posted. Some day I'll finish the purse, if I can figure out how to do it.
