Yay! That happens at my house a lot as I'm generally the only one who helps my dad set up the tree. Though I think they want to get a real tree again this year so it's really just a matter of whenever he decides to buy the tree. ^_^

YAY its "Pakjes avond!" over here. Which meens as much as presents evening. The evening when Sinterklaas comes to our homes and leaves a sack full of presents for the kids (and parents if they are lucky)
Its somewhat the same as Christmas eve I guess. Only here Sinterklaas gives presents because its his birthday tomorow.
It was normal to have them leave a sack of presents at night then you would find it on his birthday but as we all have to go to school/work again tomorow in the years it evolved to waiting in the evenings for the knock on the door and running to the door only to find no ones there. Then coming back to the living room and finding the sack.
Or any variation on that.
Anyway, this meens that tonight I'll have my Jolina Balerina XD
Oh and my kids will have their toys orcourse. I can't wait to see their faces for some presents!

Here is a....sort of a rejoice. I mean, I am still shattered because my game is gone...but one of the best video makers in the game and I got together and she made this for me.

First the background. I had an in-game romance between my character Bella and Andy's character Zach Zach's player and I are both happily married (to other people), live states apart, and there was never any confusion between the in-game romance and reality. But Zach and Bella had something extraordinary. When Zach's player had to move away from gaming to concentrate on his two adorable new babies, he wanted Zach to go out with a bang, and not a whimper, so Zach died saving Washington DC. And Bella never got over losing her true love, not in the six real years since it happened. Now, I didn't know anything about demorecording. So I never got to record all that fun Zach and Bella stuff. Samuraiko gave me all that stuff that I never had in this piece. So it was crying both for losing the game and Bella....and for happy, seeing Bella and Zach together again, first, last, and always.

There's an Australian BJD shop closing and it discounted everything at 60%, so I snagged a speed preorder 1/6 Fdoll for the body for poor Autumn who is a floating head at this point. So instead of about $90, I paid a little under $40 for the whole doll. It'll come directly from Fdoll to me so I will get charged more shipping once they know how much it'll be.

Ah, geeze, Misty ...

I have to admit, though, that once in a while I sneak a peek at one of the old Cantina Crawl videos that Javier made in SWG just so I can see Kirahfaye and Roho together again ... Even after all this time (and now being married to Roho's creator) it's nice to see them so happy. Crazy, huh? *smile*

I did a google search and apparently it's Ningyotan closing down, but they're offering 60% off of everything in stock... wouldn't make sense to offer 60% off of pre-orders unless you're looking for bankruptcy... how did you do it?!

Doesn't look like they have much left in stock. Bummer. Though I'd say shipping from Australia would eat up a lot of that discount.

I'm back! Yay!
I took a couple of week break to get into a better emotional state, and I feel ready to return now. Our internet situation ended up unchanged, so we still have dial-up. I just haven't been on much because of family stuff, plus I retreated back into a bad place for a while. Thanks to my hubby, our Tenchi dolls, and the sock contest, I'm much better now. I love working with socks (I've never used them before for doll clothes and now I almost don't want to use normal material now :D)!
Also, I'm learning to crochet! I'm not very good yet, but I've made 3 squares, 2 of which were supposed to be matching fingerless wristlets. Thanks to tension problems (and I may have miscounted one), one is too short, but they look good otherwise. Now I want to make a scarf to match!
