I agree. The sculpt of the 65 male is really nice- similar in fact to the VMF female in detail. VERY nicely done (I'll body blush him at some point- right now it's winter so he's covered up. The joints on the arms were super tight- not sure what happened with the elbow, because I am very careful. In all the years I've had Obitsus (and I have a lot of them, not as many as Karl, but a lot) I have only had that one inner abdomen piece break (the one that always breaks). Then a year or two ago, Prima's shoulder broke. But that was when she was at least four years old and had had a lot of use. This elbow joint snapped the second or third time I moved it, and I thought I was moving it correctly, so I didn't force it or anything. It just snapped.
I do hope they fix it, because that male is so nice and really needed in the Obitsu line-up. The 55 male is nice, esp with the macho chest, if you only have 50 cm girls. But it is way too small for the 60 cm girls (even modded down), and I just could not get happy with the 60 cm male frankendolly they came up with.

I'm hoping that they resolve this issue. I got my eyes on making a CR-S01 from Trauma Team eventually and that face the 65 cm has just screams "CR." But I wouldn't want it if it had this much issue even unmodded especially given I can be a little rough on my Obitsu's. If this thing's as delicate as it sounds then I might as well stick with the 55cm.

I am also reminded of the fact that Kiki's 55cm boy broke his elbow almost immediately. It made me wonder if they had assembled a batch with the wrong tension? I have noticed that travel and humidity changes affect the joints, and they can tighten up. This leads to greater tension and damage when moved. I don't think fragile elbows would stop me from getting one of these boys, I would just lay in a supply of parts.

Three years ago I told my husband, "I just want one boy doll and one girl doll."

Riiiight... we see where that got me. ha! I'll get one of these guys when Emory gets them in stock.
