Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to ask if anything odd happens skeleton-wise or I decide to do some modding - the limitations on her knee joints are slightly grating already...

As for personality; she seems content to act like a (mostly) cat/person hybrid for now.. I'm hoping her hair will change that!

Limitations? What can't she do that you want her to?

Properly fold her legs up - it's not anything I'm going to try sorting in the near future though, since I don't think I'll want the pose that often so it doesn't really justify mods just yet! - I think the vinyl responsible is rather thick and tough in that area and would be very difficult to cut down let alone neatly/without doing damage to the actual joint system/socket area

You mean as in sitting on her legs Japanese style? You need a 40cm obitsu to do that :) Or bring the legs up to the chest? Outside of the 1/4 scale hujoo I don't think any doll really does that, it's the fundamental difference between squishy flesh and rigid vinyl/resin. Based on instructions I've seen on modding certain types of 1/6 scale dolls so they can do the japanese sit, you'd have to lose a nice chunk of calf to pull it off. If the pose means a lot to you, I'd recommend buying a spare set of vinyl covers for those areas to cut up, so you still have a clean set. That way if she goes around in a skirt or pants you won't see the cuts.

For the knees to chest pose I've never seen any mod instructions on that, but I'd make the same recommendation about buying a spare set to do the cutting on. that's one of the benefits of obitsu - you can buy spare parts fairly easily!

Didn't the Doyuma sculpts do something similar to this? I seem to recall removable calf-parts.

Yes, they did. And we all looked at them, said "that's nice", played with them once and then left them in the box. Later dolls from Domuya simply had the legs sculpted to fit together.

It is possible to get the 50cm close to sitting on it's 'ankles'. It's actually a fairly simple mod. Though, Niko was NOT pleased with this sort of photo shenanigans.... and really wants his (now confiscated) pants back.

My Magical Angel hybrid girl can do that stuff. I still need to post pictures. I put an Iplehouse JID Tania head on the body and her name is Camille :-)

Yes! That pose! Precisely!
So it's not too difficult a mod? Hmm...
