Happy Holidays from Oswald (LDD Toy Soldier)

Postby KC12344325 » Tue Dec 25, 2012 9:20 pm

Oh my! It's been QUITE a while since I last posted on this forum! My life has become consumed by school and Tumblr. :P
Anyway, happy holidays everyone! I personally celebrated a wonderful Christmas with my family, and I got quite a haul! (About 90% of my gifts were dolls, hehehe.) I received a Monster High Lagoona Blue ("School's Out" version), along with a bunch of Living Dead Dolls: Ava, Ms. Eerie (Resurrection VI version), two Toy Soldiers as my father kind of didn't cooperate with the rest of my family, and Haemon, Xezbeth, Camilla and Ms. Eerie (regular version) on the way. :)
Now! Onto the fun part: I de-boxed one of the Toy Soldiers (I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with the other one :() and took some photos of him out in the snow! I wish I had gotten more, but it was nine degrees Fahrenheit out and I thought I wasn't going to need gloves (I thought it was in the twenties... hahaha nope) and my hands were FROZEN... But take these shots anyway! (Warning: he's a bit gorey.)

I hereby certify that on the Fourteenth of December, 1934
TOY SOLDIER
This little boy marched to a different tune
And under the light of a Christmas Eve moon
When it was thought that the night couldn't get any blacker
He carved up his face to look like a nutcracker
Most of my dolls are scary, but don't worry! They wont bite.

oh he's cool! I really like the photo of him between the trees. It frames him well and he looks like he's about to start moving towards the camera.

I almost want one for myself. I love nutcrackers and try to get a new one for Christmas every year.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.
