I bought a pair of shoes and some new socks for myself, and some Christmas presents for my family.

Power Team Elite Seal Team Six communications guy with a fabulous radio and antenna thing. I spent more than I would have liked on this outing, mostly on Monster clothes, but I'm having myself a merry Xmas.

My aunt got me a second Target Basics Raven Steffie. That makes 3. I have one I am currently re-rooting, one I can take the hair down with, plus one to keep that fabulous pony style looking perfect. I bought Target Red Blond Basics Barbie aka Model #1 and the Bathing Suit Basics Goddess sculpt with blond hair. You know it's funny I didn't like that doll at all for the longest time, but when it came down to it she really grew on me and I had to get her when I found her on deep discount. They were like $10 each plus I had a gift card besides so it was like $4 I think per doll by the time I was done.I really wish they'd had more of the bathing suit basics but they didn't. I really wanted the AA girl with the afro and the Laboutin.

We also went to Big Lots this afternoon looking for a new microwave for my parents place. While I was there of course I had to check out the dolls. Not much to find for the time of year or so I thought anyhow. I get out to the car and my aunt hands me this:

and says" Well, I know you have the new head coming for your old one but just in case it turns out there's something wrong with her I wanted you to have the new one, and besides she has really nice hair..."

$10 at Big Lots, and she was the only one they had. The original of this doll was my very first Barbie as a kid and I am very, very fond of my Malibu. I was very sad to see her head going. I had to replace her body already so it's not really going to be "my" Malibu anymore once I replace that head. But I've literally had her in one form or another for about as long as I can remember. This repro, she has gorgeous hair though compared to the real thing. I think the hair on the real doll is chopped so if it is I'm going to root her brunette with sun streaks. I didn't want to go there with her while she was the only one I had but with the repro girl having such perfect blond hair I think I'm going to go for it. I saw one done that way on Flickr a while back and I just loved her done brunette. It gives her such a different look with the tan and all and I think it would look pretty stunning with the yellow repro outfit besides.

Malibu set came yesterday. I put the outfit on my vintage Francie. It's perfect for her. She looks really nice now. She's wigged in a brown wig with bangs and she's in that outfit. You guys will see her soon. I'm waiting on the TNT, Ken and Skipper. I want to do a Barbie family portrait kind of thing with everybody in vintage clothes. Dad almost won me an Alan the other night but unfortunately it didn't happen. I want to get one though. Can't have Midge and not Alan.

I bought two mini Lalaloopsy micro figures. http://lalaloopsyland.wikia.com/wiki/Micro_Lalaloopsy I got the skeleton and the cat. They're so cute and a great size as doll props!

Managed to snag the last boy CAM pack at Walmart (after looking in three others and finding no boys)! I'm taking the vampire boy (and turning him human) and giving my sister the gargoyle boy (because she likes his wings). n_n

Bought an Obitsu body, Mr.Super Clear UV-CUT, and 2 obitsu heads. Pretty excited, one of my dolls has needed a body that fits her outfit for quite a while now.

A shirt, pants, and a wig from AC, boots from Mimiwoo, and a wig cap and new elastic from JS. All for my new lovely lady Leah...
Also some presents for my long distance friends: a Loki sticker, two Stark Industries stickers, Adventure Time madlibs, some sticky notes, and a Marvel sticker book.

Ailsing's new wig should be in about the same time we get back. Hopefully she likes this one better. Going to get her a slightly more punk one and a few more gifts as soon as tuition money comes in.
