Artist doll 'Lussi' with pregnant belly

Postby Evelien » Sun Dec 30, 2012 8:45 am

Just found this on French eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.fr/BJD-Lussi-Poupee-dar ... 20ce44e581

I think she's really cute and the pregnant belly is so cool!! Just thought I'd share... haven't been able to find more info about her yet, Her face reminds me of Unoa's pretty features.

-edit- Tiny bit of info from the artist here:
http://passion-bjd.fforumfree.com/t4825 ... naillee-p8
It's all in French though.

Wow, I was a little worried about what I'd be looking at when I saw the word 'pregnant' in your post, but she looks quite cute. :P

While I couldn't understand 99.9% of it (ha) I love the little carved heart in her back. Also, is that super skinny waist one supposed to be a corseted look?

Yay, I get to use my French! Yes Kirahfaye, the one with the small waist is corseted. What an cool idea! Switching out the parts would be tough, but it's still an interesting concept. The carved heart in the back is cute too.

Switching out torsos. That's a pretty cool idea! I wish we could see her face better. She looks really cute. And yes, the heart is awesome!

Interesting.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Awesome! I've been thinking of how to do a pregnant doll, and huzzah they actually exist! I wonder if anyone does the torso by trimester...

Thats so cute! Specially if there would also be a baby available.. (ok I admit I missed out on te pregnant barbie's when I was young :P)
She seemes a bit yellow tho.. or is that due to the lighting in the picture?
Wish I could read french.. :P

Btw this is what we talked about in the past. They should make more of this kind of interchangable things in bodies. Like with the waist of this doll or the hands of fairyland.

I'll do a bit of translating for those who wish to understand what the seller is saying:

"Je vous propose une Lussi (MSD 40cm), doll d'artiste neuve, en french résine verte, makeupée, avec sa wig et ses yeux.
I offer to you Lussi, a new artist doll in green french resin with faceup, wig and eyes
Elle viendra avec 3 corps (normal, enceinte et corset) dans un sac moletonné spécialement créé pour elle.
She comes with 3 torsos (normal, pregnant and corset) in a quilted bag specially made for her
Toutes les pièces ont été passées au MSC UV-cut 2 couches.
All pieces have been sprayed with 2 coats of MSC UV-cut
Vous pouvez voir les différentes étapes de conception de cette doll sur mon topic http://passion-bjd.fforumfree.com/t4825 ... naillee-p8"
