Eden's mirror problem ( continuation from Eden's furniture)

STILL A PROBLEM (

I finally had the time to open up the balloon I bought



When I saw the inside I was going NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO


Even straightened it didn't really reflect much

Out of desperation and out of other options, I went ahead and tried putting clear nail polish on it



You can kinda see a white smudge there. At first it was drying clear then I saw a tiny smear in the middle so I started to blow on it then this happened

Then I tried Tamiya acrylic gloss



The circled part is one part of the edge of the glossed part. It did go clearer a bit and shinier I guess but still not reflective.

I went ahead and took a picture of aluminum foil as well just to check if it was reflective of just blurry


I'll probably leave it as is because evenif I found something reflective, I still don't know how I'd open up the mirror frame with breaking it. It's plastic welded together.

I don't think I can afford to actually buy glass and have it cut so I'm looking for some things that could work

Please check out JoAnn Fabric and go to were they sell small mirrors. They have stuff there that you can cut to whatever shape you want.
It's the same stuff that Mattel and other doll makers use in their playhouse furniture. It works as I have used it. If you want a pix of the stuff let me know.

I used to use Tin Foil (aluminum foil now) for my dolls, then I used parts of tin cans. Tin cans should be relatively easy to cut, especially if you have a tin snips in the house. If you want a smooth mirror surface, you can polish them. Coffee cans are good for this, large amounts of flat area on the lid. Also - some groceries come with shiny pull away lids that could work. Just keep your eyes open and I'm sure something will come up!

I can definitely use this for another frame I have but it doesn't go with the other stuff yet so I'm not worried about it. Although for this one



I'm not sure which one I can use. You mentioned they have stuff that can be cut but I'm not sure which is which >.<
