Attempting a PA meet in Lancaster area (at the mall)

Over on Den of Angels, I'm attempting to scrape together a meetup at Park City Center, which is located right off Route 30 in the Lancaster area. Pennsylvania (Lancaster area) mall meetup? (late Jan or early Feb?)

Date: TBD I was considering after the holidays. Maybe mid-to-late January, or even February, for a Valentine meet?Will most likely be held on a Saturday. If I'm recalling correctly, the time to rent the room is a lot shorter on Sundays (since the mall is only open six hours or so), making holding a meetup not really worth it.

Location: A very nice private conference room in the Park City Center mall (Kohls wing @ top of the stairs/escalator, right outside the Mall offices. Can't miss it.)

Starts: TBD In the past, I've rented the room from ten to five or so. Giving people plenty of time to show up if they had further to drive.

I was wondering if anyone in the area (or outside the area) would be interested in a meetup in Park City. It's been over a year since I've been to one and it seems everyone has vanished off the face of the planet (Or has been swallowed whole by Real Life). I'm going through meetup withdrawal!

It's been a few years since I've done this, but in the past, I rented the mall conference room and hosted meetups there. It's a very nice room, with plenty of space for dolls (tables to display them on, chairs to sit in, ect). Food is allowed, drinks are also allowed as long as they're covered (bottled or canned, in other words). Best of all, it's PRIVATE. No strangers wandering by, risking things getting stolen, asking nosy questions or handling dolls carelessly. We have had a few curious onlookers pop their heads in on occasion, wondering if we were selling stuff, but nothing unmanageable. Best of all, if strangers show up and start giving trouble, we can have them escorted away by security.

It does cost to rent the room, but I'll be glad to cover it. It also depends on how long we want to go. In the past, I've rented for the day, in case people had to travel farther or arrive later, but they also have 4 hour slots which is less expensive. It just means shorter meetup times and we have to make sure we're cleaned up and out by the time the rental ends.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, lemme know. I'll have to check with the mall again to make sure the rules are the same and when it'd be available to rent, but this is why I figure a month or two in advance will be good.

Yeah, still trying to get more interest over there. So far I have a bunch of maybes, but before I put down (non-refundable) money on the room, I need to make absolutely sure people will actually show up. ^^;

I'm thinking probably in Late Feb. will be the best time for the meet now. There's also the fact that once I pick a date I'll have to make sure the room isn't already reserved and all.
