I know. I love the Momokos...but there are a couple of the J-Dolls that are just squee adorable. I'm still debating. I have a few months, yet.

well, technically resin IS hard plastic. They certainly aren't the shiny stuff the Hujoo dolls are made of - much better quality than that.

I think it is the same was as you do with Little Pullip heads.

Um, sure, resin is hard plastic, but not all hard plastic is resin, and the J-Doll heads definitely aren't resin.

No, it's not. If it were that easy I wouldn't have posted that it's a hell of a job . LP heads are attached with screws; J-Doll heads are glued together. Breaking them open takes a lot of force and comes with a risk of breakage.

I've taken the wigs off mine to see and I wouldn't touch trying to re-body one of these. I love the two I've got. I think they are the shiz but I don't think the designer on these had swaps in mind at all. They actually have very posable and esthetically pleasing bodies I think. An Obitsu would be a slight improvement but I don't think it's worth the risk of breaking them to go there.

Maybe it was Hestias that were the same then. Or maybe either the Little Pullips or J-Dolls changed somewhere along the way because I could have sworn I read something saying the 2 of them were similar to each other.
