Most of my dolls are single jointed, but alot depends on the company. My Planetdolls are all single jointed and pose amazingly-no suedeing or wiring. For my 1/12 and smaller, my best poser is Myri and she is double jointed. Cordie's new body has double jointed knees-they don't pose any better, but they are so beautiful and the joint hides the wiring I did to help her stand.

Huh... I don't really go by joint type when deciding which doll to buy.
I prefer single-jointed elbows but double-jointed knees.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@
