Sailor Moon squee!!!

I went to my neighborhood comic book store today, and this is what was in the case:



They were unboxed, and not all have earrings, but the wands and gloves are all there and the uniforms are in great shape!! And all for only $10 each!! SQUEEE!!!

So I brought them all home and this is what happened:

MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Nope, these are LARGER!! Namely, MSD!! They weren't as popular as the 1/6 scale. The doll is an odd size, and I think these are from two different releases - probably US and Asia. Mercury is much cuter and has nicer gloves. This means I can have Bitty Bitsu Sailor Moon, 1/6 Obitsu or other doll Sailor Moon, and now MSD!!

I bet we start seeing more Sailormoon stuff in stores. This summer is a worldwide release of a brand new series. Still dunno exactly what it is, but rumor has it that it's a remake of the original anime, following the plot of the manga more closely. They're being very hush-hush about the whole thing, even on whether they're bringing back the original voice actors or not. heh
