Rainy Day "Blah"

Postby Geektopian » Sun Aug 29, 2010 2:10 pm

It's one of those wet, cloudy, warm late August Sunday afternoons and Naomi was bored and tired of being cooped up in the house. She decided to go out on the back porch and see if anything worthwhile was going on (it wasn't) and a couple of quick photos capture her being her usual pensive, reflective self.

(Even thought the table is steel, she doesn't have magnetic feet. I just posed her very carefully.)

She's lovely! Is that one of the pre-painted heads, or did you paint it yourself?

I am trying to decide if I should get an open-eyehole head, a blank head (that I would paint myself and possibly be horrible at), or one of the pre-painted ones. I'm looking at getting my first Obitsu in October, and am waffling on a number of decisions.

It's one of the pre-painted heads. Naomi looks great. Where did you get the jeans from?

The prepaint gals are a lovely bunch I have one myself. They have realistic and anime style so they kinda give you an idea which style you're more comfortable with and when you're ready to paint (probably with some practice to get the style you want) you can attempt the blank or eyehole head

If it came with the shirt, its likely to be one of the Azone jeans

Yep, that's a pre-painted W-02 head on an Obitsu 25 cm "large bust" body.

The jeans were from the Pure Neemo collection Azone released back in late winter-early spring 2010. To be honest, the fit is kind of weird and they close in the back, unlike earlier PN and 27 cm jeans they've done.

What's scary though is that the feet are the same size as the 27 cm girls but the SB-2 has even bigger boobs! The large bust 25 cm is fairly normal in comparison.

She is very pretty and like how you posed her.

I can't wait for my doll parts to get in so that I can put my doll together. Waiting is always the hard part.

Thanks for the info, everyone. I know I definitely do not like the exaggerated big eye anime look. I've still got time to think about things, and seeing everyone's dolls really helps me see the options.

This is me encouraging folks to post Obitsu 1/6 photos. *grins* I may well start a thread asking questions and such in early October.

Thanks! I realized I'd had her for a while now and hadn't really done much with her since my fairly suspect "wilted flowers" post back in the spring.
