For the markings try hitting her with a magic clean eraser.

I bought my magic erasers on eBay before I found them in stores here :lol:

Thanks for the close-up pic, she's lovely. :-D The discoloring on her arm shocks me a bit though..!

No problem~ Same here! At first though, but I then realized that I did get her quite fast so some minor errors would pop up. But there are a lot of rough edges. including inside the lips that I can't focus my camera on.

I just finished sueding her and am now just tightening her strings then all that's left is her wig and to make some clothes XD

Yes, MiroDolls are lovely sculpts, but they aren't really picky with perfecting the finished doll. Their ears or nostrils and lips often have resin residue or blobs in them. But the price is NICE, so it's worth it to touch up. That's what I've had to do on my MD dolls.

You will have to replace the elastic. The kind they use is AWFUL---even worse than RS/BBB! We tried to pull our 60cm boy's elastic as tight as it could possibly go and even completely taut, it wasn't working. His knees would just collapse and the arms were impossible to pose. It's like there was no elastic in the strings! They were tight, but not.....stretchy.

Then, we just bit the bullet, bought JS elastic, which is EXCELLENT, and now he's a great poser!

Anyway, MD dolls have great personality---they're some of my only BJD that are actually SMILING! So I love them, despite their faults. ^^ :laughs:

Can't wait to see what you'll do with her! She looks beautiful!!!

And I wonder if your extra quick delivery means our GO will be on the way soon-----or if it was such a big order, they'll need more time?

Craft store elastic is probably going to be worse. I tried that with my Hujoo Dana and she became a floppy mess. The JS elastic or elastic sold by doll companies would be a better choice.

Thank you guys~ XD

@SetsunaKou: Ahh I always love the way you go into explaining. I learn a lot from you XD Thank you~ Hmm the GO might be fast compared to their "normal" times, I guess? Probably a bit longer than what it took mine but heck you never know XD

I actually don't mind the errors. Especially for the price XD, and it gives me a chance to experiment (sorry Amber -_-) on sanding (just a bit though)

For her strings, for now I'm quite happy with them, I un-stringed her, suede then re-stringed making sure they're tight this time. Or it could be because I don't really know what a "perfectly" stringed doll is. Like how it should be able to pose and stuff. Anyways :> She does have a lovely smile!! I was amazed when I first saw her face that she already looks like she's planning something! Right out of the box XD!

@catshem: I'm still using her original strings but I'm gonna try hobby store elastic (the cheap store first XD) then the good hobby store elastic after that then if I'm not happy (or know) it's still not good enough then I'll buy online.

Oooh I know JS is a really good shop. I've been tempted to buy stuff from there before but the shipping fee is just to expensive :\ even if it's just elastics. But I'll go ahead and research on what companies sell elastics.

@Gift_in_Edge: Thank you~ I do too!! XD
