I have old used much abused knees. So I found this video about self knee massage. It helps me a LOT on days when my knees are talkin'

I have to do what I like, or I don't do it. I'm like a spoiled baby (but that's nothing on Mr. Stubborn, my husband).
Over the last two years and 3 months, I've put about 3000 miles on my bicycle.
This year I plan on 3000 miles for the year. Which is about 60 miles a week.
I need to do aerobic exercise at least 5 days a week and 60 miles a week means I can't do it all in one day. Or even two. Or three.
I'm working up to 60 a week. This week is a 50 mile week, so I have only 10.1 miles to go.
I do yoga 3 days a week.
I swim (aka tread water in the deep end) in the summer.

I should be doing Pilates (mat work only) and also lifting weights at the gym 3 days a week but I'm having trouble getting motivated

I figure, if I can't seem to keep using TheDailyPlate to track my food, I might as well bicycle A LOT instead.

I have 70 pounds to lose. Which I try not to think about too much.

I have one garment that does not fit (and only one) in my closet: a pencil skirt I used to wear that is about a size 12. That skirt is either motivation or a total guilt trip, depending on the day.

Woohoo! Definitely lost a pant size, though haven't really lost any weight. Still, progress is progress. I'm more interested in the size than the weight, anywho.

Phase 1 of P90x is over. I didn't lose as much as I'd like to have but to be fully honest I really haven't pushed the diet side hard enough. I still eat too much rice. I had two bowls today. I've cut out sugar and processed food, I've had no weird blood sugar spikes for a while now, so that's good. Shaklee supplements are helping too. I'm taking the women's Vitalizer and some additional omegas. My husband says my waist and back look thinner. This is nice!!

Good news is that I'm ready to bump the weights up. I started on a modest 10 pounds for most of my curls and bicep work, and 8 for triceps. I'm ready to move to 12/8. I still can't do a pull up but I'll get there. :-)

MMmmmm the Pure Protein shakes taste better than the whey powder we buy. 23 grams of protein per bottle, only 1 gram of sugar and 6 grams of total carbs. Yay, a protein shake I don't gag on.

Not moving = lactic acid build up if you're trying to work into a new exercise routine, or so says the trainers.

I thought latic acid built up when you were doing the work, and that's why you're sore after wards.
