High heel feet for Hujoo Action girls..?

Postby Evelien » Mon Jan 28, 2013 12:38 pm

Hey.. now that I have a Hujoo Action body on the way, I'm looking for cute shoes... I found the perfect pair, but they're high heels. I don't see high heel parts for this particular body anywhere, so I wonder: will the regular feet fit into high heel shoes? I guess not... :(

Actually, it depends on the high heels. Do you have a picture?

These boots really have an arched heel that looks like it can only take high heel feet :-\

-edit- Wait a minute... I just found out the Hujoo Action feet are 6.5cm long..! Wow. That's really big for an MSD girl. That also rules out the flat shoes I found as an alternative :(. They're only 6.2cm..

>.< That's a pity. I definitely understand the disappointment of seeing something that looks great, only to find that it won't fit your doll.

By the way, I haven't tried to get any heeled shoes yet so I don't know, but how can you tell if certain shoes will only fit special heeled feet or not? Is it just by general height of the heels and how much arch it has?

I have other dolls with both flat and high heel feet and I just know that the arch of these pink boots will not fit on flat feet. It's the arch of the heel + the arch of the toes that does it.

Aah... Guess high heels will always give girls some difficulties, whether it be humans or dolls.

It says the inner length of these shoes are 6.4cm so if the Hujoo feet are 6.5cm as you say they won't fit, flat or heeled.

I have never had a problem getting flat (doll) feet to fit in high heeled shoes of the appropriate length. None of my girls have high heel feet and you can see they wear heels quite a bit. I think high heel feet are more for the aesthetics as when your doll wears high heeled sandals, where you can see the entire foot and want the foot to follow the curve of the shoe's sole. Looking at the boots in question and knowing the inner length was 6.4cm, I'd say just about any feet (flat or heeled) with a length of 6.2cm or less would fit in them.
So with your Hujoo's 6.5cm feet, I'd look for something with an inner length in the 6.6cm to 7cm range and not worry about high heel feet, unless the shoes you're looking at are sandals or transparent.

Unfortunately for me the two girls standing on the desk have now seen those boots and are giving me the puppy dog eyes.

Perhaps for Obitsus it doesn't matter, but I know it matters for the dolls I tried it with. Some shoes just require a high heel foot and I can tell these boots do.
I did notice the inner length is 6.4, but high heel feet are usually a tiny bit shorter than flat feet. So if there should be high heel feet available for the Hujoo Action body, I'd hope they'd fit into these shoes.

I've been searching for shoes for hours now and I can't find the right style in this size. These girls are right in between MSD and SD :-(

You won't actually see the feet inside those shoes so maybe you could get her a pair from a different doll or even make some out of epoxy. They just have to fit onto your doll's ankles and inside the shoes you like.

OK, having both an Obitsu 50cm and several Hujoo Action doll, I compared feet. The shoes will fit the Obitsu feet, and the Hujoo feet are actually smaller! So - I believe the shoes will fit!! Unless the VMF50 have smaller feet? K2!? Let's have a ruling on that please? And my Hujoo Sara has 5.7mm feet, so I am not sure where the 6.5 comes from?
