I worry about mice and bugs, so I got a rubbermaid dresser instead of a wooden one.

I actually find that things in wooden dressers are less subject to mice and bugs here than the rubbermaid ones. The drawers don't close tightly enough.

I've found that the rubbermaid ones are better in my house, sadly. Since we live so close to farmland, we have an issue with bugs AND mice. I find mice (thanks to Dmitri) all too often. At least he will kill them, though. Plus those nasty tiny black bugs that come off the fields are just horrible some years. It's almost impossible to keep them out of the house, along with crickets. Horrible things. Although, ceder is good for keeping doll clothes/shoes/wigs. I use my ceder chest for that.
