casserole dish find

Postby E-Beth » Sun Feb 10, 2013 5:05 pm

I was cruising the grocery store (Raleys chain) and found a tiny lidded casserole dish. So, for $3 how could I resist.

Now I have to make a kitchen table, I suppose.

"Tiny casserole"
Ha ha. First, I need to make a kitchen table to go with some chairs that are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Then I need table linens: at least placemats and napkins. Then I'll probably have to resort to making flatware since I can't find any I can stand.
Then I'll probably lose my mind and start contemplating kitchen appliances. Wait, I've already been contemplating that.
I'm doomed!

Those are wonderful- I've seen them and so far resisted, but they are great. I'd love one, will probably end up with one.

Kitchen??? Like this?
:)

The appliances are vintage from the 1950s (ebay).

grrrrrr

yes, very much 'like this'.

I'm thinking of kitchen appliances and fixtures about 20 years older in style then the ones you have. More 1930s. An unfitted kitchen: freestanding big wide farmhouse sink, old gas burning stove/oven that looks like woodburning ones sometimes did, farm cabinet/cupboard. Open shelves for the dishes.
