By "LPs" you mean records, right? (I feel like there's something else that's also an abbreviation for...)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Well there's LPS, Littlest Pet Shop, but I do suppose she means records :-)

Hmmm, lessee now. Finished paying off my Soom Benmore (a month early. Yay!). Also bought two wigs from Mimiwoo in hopes they'd fit my Faery Legend boy and girl. They both fit Deedlit. Which is good 'cause either color works for her. Eros, however, has a fat head and neither will fit him without popping off 'cause they're too tight. I love his long wig but the black wig cap stains his head, so I bought a mini silicone cap from Denverdoll. THIS had better fit him 'cause I'm running out of wig options!

Also finally bought the Dollheart girl pirate outfit I've been eyeballing for the past year or so now. And two pairs of eyes. One for my minifee girl and the other for a Pukifee I haven't even bought yet. Was also seriously considering buying the YO-sized pirate outfit for a boy, but managed to resist temptation. Perhaps next time I make a DDE order. ^^;

Just won an auction on Ebay for a gorgeous 1/4 scale outfit and am bidding on another by the same seller for 1/3 scale fantasy piece that I think I may win. I dunno why her auctions aren't that popular. She does gorgeous and detailed work, and her prices are really good, too. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Makes it nicer for me when I don't have to pay high prices for the pieces I want when other bidders drive them up. heh heh

33 1/3 long playing records! ;D I ended up buying two more today. lol! And books! I LOVE books. One of them, and the most interesting, is about the Industrial Age from 1760-1830 England. The LPs : 101 Strings Gypsy Camp Fires, Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet (London Philharmonic Orchestra), a German Decca LP of Strauss waltzes, a Columbia Record Club demo LP (orchestral band playing popular music of the 20s and some classical pieces), Rigoletto and Pagliacci (opera) and back to Tchaikovsky on Westminster Hi-Fi Swan Lake and the Nutcracker.

Now I'm in the mood to sit down and read Sherlock Holmes. Sadly, that is the ONE collection that my personal library is missing so I'm sure next paycheck I'll be heading over to B&N for the compendium of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I show my age because I do like CDs, but I miss playing records. Now that I have a turn table (I'm still yearning for an old Victrola for my 78 collection), I LOVE to play my record collection. My husband and I have about one hundred albums of classical music and I keep adding to it.

Finn got another Lalaloopsy doll since I needed to break a twenty for a cab ride.

I love records! They've introduced me to so many wonderful musicians.

Great idea for breaking that 20!

I grew up listening to old 78s (Sousa with my grandfather 'directing' the band...lol!) and 33 1/3 LPs, mostly 40s swing, again thanks to my grandfather. Then once I was a bit older, I'd save my lunch money and head over to the local record shop for the latest 45 or album. I don't have my 45s anymore...but between my husband and I, we have around 1000 records now. :o :shock: I still listen to them while he finds one he wants and he'll 'replace' it via Amazon or iTunes.

LPs are apparently coming back in style now. There's a guy who owns a music shop in town and he also repairs and sells old record players and such. He's suddenly getting tons of business for LPs, and some of them are pretty valuable.

I used to listen to records when I was little. And 8-trak tapes. lol My favorites were the story time records. I had two Rainbow Brite stories and I had every song memorized. Oh, and a She-ra story record, too. And lots of Psalty the Singing Psalmbook records. I loved the music on all of them!

Found this girl for $0.50 today and decided to buy. I'm hoping to change her hair and put on Obitsu or Azone 1/6 body.

This new girl has the same face-up as Rin (except that she has one white dot on her nose while Rin has it above her nose) and she's a tiny bit lighter than Rin. I have too much 1/6 dolls that need new bodies. ^^'

We've got a couple of used record/book stores in town. I don't really buy much from them because they are SO darned expensive. I like shopping Goodwill/Salvation Army because it's $1/LP. (I'm cheap.) Plus, I find a lot of music that never makes it to the used record shops. Opera, classical music, even 101 Strings. I'm always on the look out for the old Decca records because those really are the best. (The best vocalists, musicians, orchestras, recordings...)
