Also, if anyone of you found classes that offered "High Heeled Exercises" Please... don't....do it.... that is a disaster waiting to happen. >_<

High heeled exercises? I'm pretty much a pro in any style/height heel but that sounds like a broken ankle waiting to happen.

Exactly. There's apparently a new trend going on with women trying to look good in high heels. Someone is profiting on that and claiming they can properly do exercises in stiletto's. I told my trainer this last night and he was just like "Or, now here's a crazy idea, train in normal athletic shoes to look good in Spring's new heels!"

If someone someone can do a proper squat in stiletto's I'd like some video proof. Because that's just a sprained ankle or tendon just waiting to happen. You don't have the proper footing or balance to do exercises in high heels. :/

If you want to look good in heels, just walk around in heels. It's the easiest and fastest way I know of to train up the butt/calf muscles. Running my normal errands in a pair of heels is basically a work out in and of itself.

And here's a video of someone doing squats in heels. Because I got curious. If this was me, it would have ended in a trip to the hospital: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7UMPsudZKM Note how not stable she is.

Oh, thanks for the video. Going to show it to my trainer and see if he spots anything wrong. I can't tell, but she looks like she's over extending her knees, but this angle isn't the best to tell.

Finally had the nerve to way myself, and I'm 10 pounds under what I expected! Still not great, but much better progress than I felt like. It motivated me to do more, so today I pulled out my pole and did some dancing.

I ate like a total pig over this past week. Conference coffee, conference snacks, post-conference late night meals. GUH. I feel awful. hahahaha... Time to get back to it! And weather's warmin' up a wee bit so I can walk outside without freezing my eyeballs out of my head.

I have an appt with a personal trainer Tues morning to get started at our new gym! The hubby and I are going to Academy (still that that's a strange name for a sporting goods store) to get some necessary workout wear.
