Mignon's 2nd face-up

I'm sorry for spamming a new topic, but I fear my new pictures will be overlooked if I post them on page 3 of my older topic . The thing is: I redid Mignon's (Narae Butterfly) face-up today.. and I'm still not satisfied. It's an improvement - even though my boyfriend says there's still too much dark paint in her mouth crease - but it was much prettier before I started applying gloss. I regret going overboard with my gloss . But I guess it's a decent face-up for now, I love her anyway and I will not redo it any time soon. Let's first get those pants finished - at last!!

I love her eyes!!! Mignon is such a sweetie. Whenever you get a new girl I catch myself thinking "wow, this one's even prettier" ... then I see pics of the others and realize I simply couldn't say which is the most beautiful, they're all gorgeous. <3 You do a great job with them!

Evelien, if you don't mind my asking, did you get her secondhand or from a dealer? A friend had her secondhand Narae on DOA for less than a day yesterday before someone else claimed her while I was still hemming and hawing. I think she'd be a great sculpt to reshell a character, but apparently there are issues with production....

I got her brand new from D-Storic during their Goodbye Bimong sale. Ordered on November 11th, received on February 14th. Which issues with production do you mean?

I'm still following the D-Storic waiting room and yes, waiting times are 3+ months right now, but that's because of the goodbye sale in November-December (Naraes could only be pre-ordered from them until December 31st), they got a ginormous amount of orders all at once because (1) of the low prices and (2) it's uncertain Naraes will ever be available again. Other than that, my doll took a bit longer because I chose Korean Real resin and they were having some casting problems with that skintone because of the weather.

Other than that there are no production issues that I know of. If they were still selling Narae, I'd heartily recommend D-Storic

As yet, it's unknown what Bimong will do to get his dolls produced and sold now. Right now, Naraes can't be pre-ordered. They can only be bought second hand. That explains why your friend's doll was sold so quickly.
