Finally Back!

So, for those of you that care lol, I'm back. I'm officially settled in, here in Massachusetts. Job is going well. Finances are a bit tight still, recovering from the move, but I got internet back as of Monday, and spent the last two days getting caught up on posts. If I necro any topics, I apologize in advance, though I'm pretty sure I checked all the old threads now. I have buttloads of pictures that I'm going through, which I'll probably just put all in one thread, as they're mostly of the same two dolls; my RS male Dai, Angel, and Myrretah's RS Gang, Dallieh.

All the resins survived intact, though I haven't unpacked the monsters, as this likely isn't going to be a long term residence for me. I commute over half an hour to my job, and that's with no traffic, and breaking a few speed limits. (Those of you familiar with south-eastern Mass, I live in Fall River, and work in Avon) If I don't end up staying in this location, my commute will increase to at least double that.

That being said, I'm soooo much happier now, when it comes to my space, and creativity. I have some personal issues still lurking, but I feel like I can finally breathe again.

Thanks Ev! I missed this place, and it took me so long to go through all the posts. Oh em gee you gais! In just barely over a month, something like 14 pages of unread threads. Yeesh.

I'm really loving my little apartment, in spite of the issues it has. For one, the place was built in 1912, and it shows haha. Some of the windows don't sit quite right, and I think my kitchen used to be a closet at one point... It's barely big enough to fit the sink and the stove. The fridge is in my main living space lol. But it's still plenty of room for just me, my dog (who has also been SO much happier) and my dolls. I have four windows in my main room, so it's always nice and bright, though the flipside is, I'm right along two major highways. My bedroom and the craft room overlook the back yard, so they're a little quieter. I'm on the second floor, so while it was a trial to get my furniture up those tiny little stairs, the floors don't get so cold. My heater had to be replaced the first day I was here, but it has absolutely NO electrical components (not even the thermostat) so I don't lose heat when the power goes out, nor do I lose my stove. Hurrah for gas powered appliances. I'm twenty minutes or so from Providence RI, and about an hour and change from Boston. I was finally able to set up an altar, and not worry about my stuff getting broken, or stolen, and I can decorate however the hell I want. For my first place, alone, it's not bad at all.

Yeah, well... steam powered are so much better yanno, but I make do. Boilers are hard to maintain.

Haha once you're settled, we'll have to organize a meet or something. My car gets good gas mileage, so I don't mind driving.
