Benjy in his usual wig. It's a lovely colour and cut but it pops off very easily.
The spare wig before modification. The elastic holding one of the plaits broke a few years ago and as you can see, I'm not good at braiding.
I want shorter hair for Benjy, so most of the length will have to go! The bangs are also far too long.
The wig is no longer in braids and I've brushed it twice. The wig has been moved on the head so that his eyes are visible. This would be such a cute cut for a girl but not for Benjy!
On to the cutting!
After the initial cut, Benjy is channeling a swashbuckler. The length is fine but it's very uneven. He still has some wave in his hair.
The final look! The bangs are trimmed and the sides are almost even. Now Benjy looks like a Weasley with that hair colour and smile.
I cut so much fibre it looked like I had shaved my ginger tabby! Next on the list, give the poor boy a faceup!
