Almost all our dolls are anime/game/book or seiyuu portrait dolls. None are OCs at all. ^^ 1/6, 1/4, and 1/3 scale.

All of my resin dolls are OC, but my MH dolls are ... just cute. I haven't decided yet what to make of my Ellowyne Wilde.

Most of them are my own original characters. Some are characters from various anime/video games/books. Only anime dolls and figures retained company-intended personalities.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

All OCs, though I'm more and more tempted to make some non-OC dolls. I'm working to complete the cast for my brain child but it's slow going and I get distracted. Other than that they just kind of become characters in their own little worlds. The dream is to someday have all of my stories and persons of interest in doll form, but I also want a pet unicorn and a mansion. We'll see which happens first.

All of my dolls are original characters from my own stories.
I am slowly but surely writing quick little blurbs for their doll profiles, but their stories keep progressing and I have to keep editing!

Here's a few.

Fyodor Galway – A handsome young man with some spinal issues that impede his ability to get around a bit. He does his best, but can’t always do everything himself, something he’s not too fond to admit. This creates some challenges for him as the owner of a tarot reading and book shop. Fortunately, he happens to have a friend by the name of Brody that insists on helping him in spite of his stubborn nature. He spends most of his days working in his little shop and doing tarot readings for patrons. When he’s not working, he is in his apartment upstairs from his shop relaxing alone or with friends, preferring things quiet.

Brody Jean Lamotte – A kind, charismatic Cajun with a penchant for music, he is constantly trying to keep himself busy with helping his friends out any way he can, be it good advice or just running errands. He works odd jobs and does lawn care to make money, but thinks of himself as a bit of a musician, playing his guitar at any place with an open mike. He comes from a rough past, being cursed with immortality by a demon many years ago and forced to do her bidding for a time. While he would have preferred a normal life, he tries to make the best of things.

Landon Crawley – A fallen angel, not originally by choice, but by a betrayal, Landon worked hard to clear his name, but in the process found that the earth was a place worth staying in. When he fell, he would have perished, if not for the kindness of the stranger. Sebastian, the man that saw him, took him into his home and brought him back to health. It made Landon give his plans of reclaiming his old post a second thought once he left. In the end, he came back and now is making a life better than the one he left behind.
At Home: Lettice (RS Rong), Avery (PD Tara), Sebastian (RS Wu), Titiana (RS Li), Patrick (RS Mai), Vivica (DDoll Airi), Brody (DZ Hid), Fyodor (DDoll Hiro), Landon (WD HOE Juwel), Khoshekh (Oleum's Dolls)

:? I was so sure I'd replied to this one!

Most of my resins are OCs, a couple of the resin guys are shelling fan-characters (well Vetinari and The Thin White Duke... Where they're supposed to represent a character that someone else invented, but they generally have an unintentional twist to them that's purely my own).

The 1/6 scalers are mostly exactly who they were intended to be by the company (Such as Tony, The Doctors, the MHs, the Disney gang) but the obitsus are a mix of OCs and fan-characters... Oh and Tony again counts as a fan-shelling (ish) he's far closer to my internal idea of Tony Stark from the movies/comics/fan fiction than any of the official versions...
Crazy Mulitverse Crew: Drax, Jareth, Jerome, Elrana Milenkova, The Thin White Duke, Vasily Lupandin, Ramin Aiphos, Theta Sigma, Aiko Koyame, Lord Havelock Vetinari, Dr Nicholas Rush, Anon., Nyta Kinall, Otto Kreiner, That Demon, Sasu, Yaya, Ombre
...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson

My current collection is a combination of OCs and fan dolls... none use the names given by the companies (nor have any of mine come with backstory)-- well, except for the MH dolls, though I pick and choose canon with that.

Vince is purely himself. I named him after Vince Noir from The Mighty Boosh, and had wanted to give him a Vincent Valentine cosplay for cons (bought fabric, have yet to attempt constructing the coat, and he doesn't have the proper wig for that yet...), but he's become very much his own little guy as I've gotten to know him.

My other resin boys are fan dolls.

And my Hujoo crew is all kind of a middle ground, actually-- they're cat versions of OCs I have, but they're OCs from a... you know, a property I am a fan of. (I mean, Marie and Alice are basically straight up genderbends of a couple of characters, in plastic catgirl form)

The doll I have been trying to save for is one of my RP characters, I'd love to eventually build her world out, but I also have a burning desire for a couple other dolls I'd love to turn into characters that I'm just a fan of, because I am really into embracing fandom and exploring that in all kinds of creative efforts-- and in the highly unlikely event that I fall totally out of a fandom that I'm THAT deeply committed to, then the dolls can be revamped into OCs or into other characters, since none of my plans involve modding...
