In progress shots, very first layer of pastel. I didn't get a picture of the head when it first came into my hands, but it hadn't been cleaned yet, after coming out of the mold, so I had to knock the flash out and sand a few spots. There wasn't much, though, since the mold is very clean. Just a little jagged edges inside the eyes, and at the tops of the ears, as well as the remnants of the flaw around the rim of the head that made it unsuitable to be sold. But honestly, looking at this guy, you'd never even know the flaw was there.
Several layers of pastel, and watercolor pencil, and watercolors and.... yeah ok, he's almost done at this point. In my shower stall, just after getting sprayed. My bathroom has a vent in the wall that leads to the old flu system, so while it's a bit chilly in there, it airs out on its own and the door seals well. So when it's too cold/humid to spray out on my fire escape, I spray in the shower, shut the door and wait about 45 minutes to go in there. The spray itself dries in about five to ten minutes but the fumes take a while to clear out.

Fun size comparison. From left to right, a 1/6 5Star Doll Tong Tong that I'm working on for someone, my own boy, Shy, an Angelsdoll Kloze with slight mods to the eyes, and Lilium. He's a bit of a beast, but still looks good on a 74cm slim body. Shy has very similar proportions to a Dollshe body, and that's the one they're sharing for the moment.
And all done, looking rather regal. I think he needs a proper toga.
