They're so cute! How wonderful to still have such treasures created by your Mom!

Mary Kathryn, glad I could provide a trip down memory lane. I think Blue runs the show here too, much to Red's annoyance.

KitKat, there is a link to what the dog/slug/creature is. Wardah provided it. I never knew what he was.

Tallie, since these were bought at a toy show very used and then washed, hey do no have their scent. But that's OK.

Aeilia, I love the things my Mom made the most! Having a crafty mom is very cool.

Thanks for all he comments. The girls aren't BJD's, so I was a bit worried about posting. You've all been too kind. I definitely picked the right doll board!

x0xPeachyx0x - Glad to give you a walk down memory lane. That was one of the main reasons I posted.

Astrid - I never had Rose Petal dolls, but oddly enough, I have some of the clothes! My mom found them somewhere, and they fit my Moondreamers very well. I will introduce those girls here too.

Do you have any BJD tinies? If you do can you compare them to your Shortcakes? I still wish to one day have an uber poseable Strawberry Shortcake.

Hi Wardah. Sorry, I don't have any BJDs at all! Which is one reason I like these boards, as all dolls are approved.

But I do have a measuring tape, because Strawberry is out in the living room - I've been working on new dresses for them all.

I shall measure in centimeters, as I can be more accurate:

Height : 14.8 cm (her hair sticks up a bit at the part, so this is approximate)

Head Circumference : 14.7 cm (I know, her head is huge!)

Waist : a little less than 6 cm!!!

Foot Length : 2.2 cm

Foot Width : 1.4 cm

Leg Length : 6 cm

Arm Length : 4.5 cm

I didn't necessarily mean a "proper" BJD as defined by some of the stricter communities out there. The cheaper the better. I tried a Konji before but the proportions were all off.

The dolls are so sweet! I love your Mum's handiwork. What a treasure they are. Red is a great colour, so bright and cheerful.

Oh I forgot to ask, since you have a tape measure, how high is it from the bottom of her feet until the top of her shoulders? I wonder if I should get a tape measure since I been dabbling in sewing too.
