New Face for Elsie

The blushing was fading a bit and I really wanted to give her freckles. :) I also wanted to give her a more vulnerable look...which is a result after meeting Puck (my RS Mu) who is a half-demon. That story is still in process as I am in the midst of still writing it, and editing it because it is pretty violent, NSFW and certainly not kid safe.

Thanks! I used a fan brush ( a very SMALL) fan brush with watered down acrylic paint. It was almost like working with runny water color. I dipped the brush in the paint and then flicked my finger along the bristles and basically spattered her face. I put down the blushing and her lips first. It's hard to see in the photo (not the greatest light), but her lips were done with pale pink pastel chalk and an iridescent silver water color. I am hoping the weather will be nice tomorrow so I can get photos of her in natural light.

Good job! I've always wanted to do freckles but have never been brave enough.

Thanks! I was hoping for something other than the tough girl look she was trying to sport. :D

I had to wipe her face twice before I got them right but it really wasn't all that hard. You can do it!
