so i'm not sure how it would compare. The resin is very smooth and she is heavier than my reinsoul girl.
How does one judge resin quality? Does anyone know? Is the weight of resin that important to strength and durability?
I have a lot of questions about this, as you can tell. I know bubbles in the cast is bad, but other than that, what makes a quality doll?
Is the standard really just based on Volks dolls? Since they were the first, is the weight and texture of their dolls the gold standard? I have CP/Luts, Dollzone and Bobobies at home, but they are all wildly different sizes, so hard to compare weight and size ( I'm really not interested in doing displacement tests on unstrung dolls to compare relative densities
).
My questions haven't even touched on posing abilities, 'cause that's not a key factor for me, but I know it is to many other people (especially all the people who feed my photostory addiction!).
Anyone have any opinions?
